Dr. Gianluca Bini
DVM, MRCVS, DACVAADr. Gianluca Bini graduated from the University of Perugia, Italy. He completed elite anesthesia and rotating internships in the UK at Dick White Referrals before finishing his residency at North Carolina State University. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at The Ohio State University, and currently shapes the future of veterinary medicine as faculty at Oklahoma State University.
Kristen Ward
BSN-RN, RVT-VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia)Kristen Ward brings a powerhouse dual perspective as both a registered human Cardiovascular ICU BSN-RN and a highly specialized Veterinary Technician Specialist. With over 12 years of clinical experience (including 6 years dedicated strictly to the anesthesia service at NC State University), Kristen applies human cardiovascular standards of care to elevate veterinary anesthesia standards nationwide.

What kinds of behavior problems can you help with?
We commonly see anxiety, aggression, house soiling, destructive chewing or scratching, vocalization, reactivity toward people or other pets, fear of certain situations, and stress in newly adopted pets. Call us.
Do you prescribe medication?
When appropriate, yes. Medication or supplements can support behavior modification by helping pets feel calmer and more receptive to training. All recommendations are based on your pet’s health and test results.
Why do you need to do blood work?
Some behavior changes are caused or worsened by medical conditions like pain, metabolic disease, hormone changes or neurologic issues. Lab work helps us rule those out before starting therapy.
How soon will I see results?
Every pet is different. Some respond within a couple of weeks, while others need more time and follow-up. We will guide you on what to expect based on your pet’s diagnosis and plan.
